Rule #1 Please Read the Fine Print

Many students today feel that if something is offered, it must have some kind of benefit.  If you understand this illustration here is something else you might enjoy.

  1. Charlie,

Love this comic. I saw it modified on a t-shirt once after the presidential voting debacle where people said they were denied the ability to vote. The sign on the t-shirt was changed to read, "Polling Station," but still had "Pull" on the door. Very funny.

Humor is such a great way to draw people into very real and important issues without them knowing it. I use it frequently in the classroom. Everyone's guard is down when you make them laugh, then you can slip the good stuff (learning) in there when they least expect it...and they're still listening to you.

I like the nature of the design layout you've chosen for the blog too. Very approachable by high school and middle school students. They like the more intense imagery. Nice job.
